Your friends at the Keg and Barrel want to wish everybody a safe and happy holiday season as Halloween is right around the corner. We continue to add to our ever expanding beer catalogue.  60 beers on the wall and 55 in bottles.  We look forward to seeing you in the following months as some of our favorite winter foods will be making a triumphant return.  Chicken and Sausage Gumbo on Mondays and Bangers and Mash on Thursdays.  Join us for lunch or come out for any of our regular menu items for dinner.  See you soon and remember according to the BBC Beer is good for you.

Hattiesburg's Premier beer emporium.  With beers representing the finest selection in South Mississippi, the Keg and Barrel is dedicated to supplying its patrons with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly neighborhood feel.

Located on Hardy Street in a century-old house, the Keg and Barrel has an atmosphere like nowhere else in Hattiesburg.  The large wrap around porch is perfect for lounging with friends while sipping on the brew of your choice.  Inside, the dark wood accents around the bar and luxurious couches  just inside the door offer a wonderful place for you to kick back after a long day at work or just a nice place to be on a day off.  There are plenty of tables for groups who may want to meet up.  There are two dart boards in the back room, so come out and throw a few.  This traditionally styled English pub offers something for everybody.  Whether throwing darts, relaxing with friends, or just sitting at the bar sampling some of the many wonderful beers on tap, you will feel right at home.

Whether you are a true beer connoisseur or a novice to the wonderful world of beer we have something to match your taste.  With beers from all over the world, including several selections from our very own state, we will work hard to help find the perfect brew for you.

Our staff is well versed in the language of beer and will assist you in picking one. Or you could take a beer flight and try a sampling of five different beers.  We offer several prearranged flights or you can create your own.  Our selection of draught beer is unmatched in this area and we welcome you to try them all (preferably not in one sitting).

Congratulations to lazy magnolia brewery, winners of two bronze medals at the world beer cup in Seattle last month for amberjaque-rye category, southern pecan-specialty category. Flying dog has landed, In-heat wheat, Flying dog pale ale, Old scratch amber, Tire bite golden ale and finally a legitimate (snake dog) IPA,are now available. Also Stella and Grolsch.
